About airfield sign arrays
Most airfield signs aren't installed alone. At a taxiway intersection, a location sign and direction signs share one sign housing as an array, and at a runway crossing a holding position sign may sit beside a location sign. FAA AC 150/5340-18 orders the panels so the arrows read left to right in the direction they point, with the location panel between left-pointing and right-pointing direction panels and a black divider between two adjacent yellow panels. Add up to eight panels of any kind here, in order.
