About information signs
Information signs give pilots something they need to know that isn't a location, direction or instruction: a radio frequency to call (CTAF 122.8, GROUND 121.9), a noise abatement procedure, a reminder that an area isn't visible from the tower. They're black on yellow like direction signs, without an arrow, and can run to a few lines. The VOR receiver checkpoint sign is an information sign too, with a layout of its own — it has its own builder.
